One of the most requested features since launch — AI-powered comment summarization is now live for all plans.
When a spec has more than three feedback threads in a single section, Inkframe automatically groups related comments and generates a single, actionable summary sentence for each cluster. Think “Reviewers flagged three alignment issues in the header” rather than 11 separate comment bubbles competing for attention.
How it works
Inkframe sends only comment text — never frame content — to the summarization model. Comments are grouped by canvas proximity and thread parent. Each cluster produces one summary. You can expand individual comments at any time by clicking the group.
The feature is on by default for specs with 10+ comments. To disable it, open Spec Settings → Comments → Summarization and toggle it off.
Beta results
In our 6-week beta with 43 design teams, reviewers reported a ~40% reduction in time-to-resolution on dense specs. The biggest gains were on specs shared with non-design stakeholders who struggle to navigate long comment threads.
To give feedback or report an edge case, reply to the email from your account or open a support ticket — this is v1 of the model and we are actively tuning it.
