Inkframe
v2.4.1 Improvement

Small things — week of Mar 7

Keyboard shortcut for frame export, share links that copy on click, and comment avatars showing initials as fallback.

A handful of quality-of-life improvements shipped this week based on feedback from the community. None of these are groundbreaking — they’re the kind of polish that makes the tool feel considered.

Keyboard shortcut for export. Press Cmd+Shift+E (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+E (Windows/Linux) to export the active frame as a shareable spec. No more hunting through the menu for something you do ten times a day.

Share links copy on click. The share link button now copies the URL directly to your clipboard without opening a modal confirmation. The button label swaps to “Copied!” for 1.5 seconds, then resets. One interaction instead of three.

Comment avatars with initials fallback. When Gravatar is unavailable — which is common for teammates who use a work email not tied to a Gravatar account — the avatar now renders a two-letter monogram on a deterministic background color derived from the reviewer’s email hash. This keeps the comment rail visually consistent and avoids the broken-image placeholder that was appearing for roughly 30% of reviewers.

No database migrations or settings changes are required. All three improvements are live across all plans as of today.
