Packaging system for a Japanese ceramics studio focused on utilitarian stoneware. Material-led — textured kraft paper, blind emboss, single-color letterpress printing. Zero decoration that doesn't earn its presence.

Material Research
Before any mark-making, a thorough audit of the category — competitor brands, reference materials, production constraints, and the client's own touchpoints.
Direction Development
Three distinct visual directions presented in context — not in isolation. Each direction has its own logic, its own risks, and its own version of the client's future.
Production Oversight
Design that only exists in Figma isn't finished. Specification, printer liaison, press approval, and delivery of a complete asset library with usage guidelines.
