The Brief
Issue 04: Surface. 120 pages that reward slow reading.
Biannual print magazine for a contemporary art publication. Designed on a strict Swiss grid with Cormorant as the text face. Issue 04 theme — "Surface" — became an exercise in negative space, bleed photography, and caption typography as art direction.

Material Research
Before any mark-making, a thorough audit of the category — competitor brands, reference materials, production constraints, and the client's own touchpoints.
Direction Development
Three distinct visual directions presented in context — not in isolation. Each direction has its own logic, its own risks, and its own version of the client's future.
Production Oversight
Design that only exists in Figma isn't finished. Specification, printer liaison, press approval, and delivery of a complete asset library with usage guidelines.
